
ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Computing
Overview
A 60-credit foundation in the core computing disciplines — systems development, programming and scripting, databases, networks and security, and the legal/ethical framework. It provides the base from which learners specialise (data analysis, software development, cyber security) or progress to Level 5.

Entry requirements
A GCE A-Level profile (2+ subjects) with 5+ GCSEs at grade 4/C and above, a related Level 3 qualification (e.g. an ATHE Level 3 Diploma), an Access to HE certificate, or equivalent international qualifications.
Progression
ATHE Level 5 Computing, or a degree pathway
